Comics for Change! 1: Cheryl Johnson


This first installment of the Comics for Change! series tells the story of Cheryl Johnson, a teacher and environmental activist from Astoria, OR. Written by Anne Marie DiStefano and illustrated by Hiller Goodspeed, this comic presents an inspiring tale of one woman’s efforts to educate and mobilize her community against over-development and the Liquified Natural Gas industry.

Anne Marie DiStefano is a Portland writer whose work has been featured in the Portland Tribune. Hiller Goodspeed is a freelance artists and designer from Florida. He currently lives in Vancouver, Canada.
